| I woke up early today! (at 4:30am)

| I went running this morning (well, fast-walking/running), because I said I would... A friend is trying to get me to exercise more. Says it not only makes one more healthy, but it also relieves stress. Well, I do feel less stressed, but I have a hunch I am going to feel very sore soon, too.  Yay, I went for a whole half hour! What an accomplishment! haha ...I was so tired afterwards, though...I definitely need to work out more.  Well, gotta start from somewhere, right? Hope I can keep the momentum up and "running"

| Just a few more minutes of today left... It's been a pretty long, tiring day, actually  ... But... I feel so loved. Each phone call, text message, etc., each such a pleasant surprise!  Then, upon coming home... Seeing all the warm greetings for me on facebook has just really brightened up my day!  Thank you so much everyone. I love you all.  | | |
| Today was a busy day. It started off with modeling in ao dai's as schoolgirls, with some friends from Ngan Khoi (the Vietnamese community choir I'm a part of), for a photoshoot during a Vietnamese community photography class. This was the 2nd time we've been invited to model for the class. It was fun, but a lot more rushed than last year, since today, we needed to leave early and rush to get over to the Westminster Rose Center, in time for a sound check for our choir's performance in today's highlight, Little Saigon Radio's (15th) and Viet Tide newspaper's (7th) birthday celebration. We sang "Viet Nam Minh Chau Troi Dong"...I really like the arrangement we have of this song . I was so happy when I saw Tammy T. in the audience, while up on stage...Anh Bảo, Phong, and Khanh were also in the audience, but I didn't notice them yet at this point :( ... yet maybe that's why I was so pleasantly surprised to see them present, later on... In addition to celebrating the birthday of LSR and Viet Tide, the nominees and winners of the Golden Wave Award 2008 (Giai Song Vang 2008) were also announced during this event. (The Golden Wave Award is a people’s choice award established by Little Saigon Radio and Việt Tide Newspaper for purpose of honoring an individual and an organization each year for their contribution to the Vietnamese American community. Recipients of the Golden Wave Awards are selected from nomination by votes collected from the members of the Vietnamese American communities in Texas and California .)

I just love this... It reminds me of a similar image of a rock and a ruler: the ruler says, "You rock!", while the rock says "You rule!" ...haha, those images are just too clever! hehe Just thought I'd share. ^-^ | | |
